Quick, cheap, easy and effective safety

Got this from racer Brandon Nelson. For a few bucks, ruddered boats can be rigged to paddle safely even if a cable breaks. Check out what Brandon sent:

“I shared one of Sterling Donalson’s ingenious field repair tips recently on YouTube, and it’s been getting a fair bit of buzz from far-off paddlers in colder regions for its solo safety aspect. It’d certainly make sense for any DP Dash boat (with a rudder) to rig it pre-race. Here’s the link, and feel free to post it on the DP Dash blog: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VAknFR3-rjE

Thanks Brandon!
